A black and white photograph of several occupiers standing on the roof and in front of the occupied tunnel house. The occupiers are holding up banners reading "Lenge Leve Lågendeltaet", "Leve Lågen" and "Aktivt Verna Sone". Some are also holding up their fists as a sign of resistance.

The Lågendelta is under threat!

The Lågendelta nature reserve, located 2 hours north of Oslo, is one of Norway’s largest inland river deltas. It is now threatened by the contruction of a new four-lane highway (E6).

Tunnelhuset (The Tunnel house) is a new squat, located in the way of the planned highway. Tunnelhuset is one of the first Actively Protected Zones (AVS), similar to the french Zone to defend (ZAD), in Norway. It defends the Lågendelta against the irreparable damages the new highway project will have on the delta’s unique ecosystem.

Join the Tunnelhuset AVS to stand against ecocide and destructive, greedy policies! We welcome contributions like tree climbing, carpentry/handiwork, care and regenerative functions, material contributions, skillsharing, cooking, awareness work, or simply your presence.

Når staten ikke verner, verner vi! (If the state does not protect, we do!)
